Let's dive in.

✍️ NOTE FROM THE EDITOR

Hey there — I’m thrilled you’re here at the very beginning.

When I started exploring AI tools for my marketing, I was overwhelmed. There were hundreds of options, complex setups, and it seemed like you needed a computer science degree just to get started.

But here's what I discovered: the most powerful marketing automations aren't the most complex ones — they're the ones you actually implement.

That's why The Agentic Marketer exists.

My promise to you is simple: no jargon, no unnecessary complexity, just practical automations that save you time and help you grow.

Every issue delivers actionable strategies you can implement immediately to save time, capture more leads, and grow your business with confidence - and today, we're starting with a system you can launch in under 60 minutes to start capturing leads on autopilot.

🎯 THIS WEEK’S AUTOMATION PLAYBOOK

The Right Setup to Capture Leads From Multiple Sources

Imagine having a system that captures, qualifies, and routes leads automatically — no chasing DMs, emails, or form submissions manually.

If you’ve ever lost leads because you were too busy to follow up, you already know: speed and organization make all the difference.

Now, with just a couple of no-code tools and a smart setup, you can create your first AI-powered lead capture funnel in less than an hour.

No tech skills required. Just simple steps to build a machine that works for you 24/7.

Let’s break it down.

Step 1: Build a Smart Lead Capture Form (15 Minutes)

If you're starting from scratch, use Tally.so or Typeform to quickly create a beautiful, mobile-friendly lead form.

Basic Fields to Include:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Business Type

  • Biggest Challenge

  • "How Soon Do You Need Help?" (Dropdown: Immediately / 1–3 months / Just researching)

 Pro Tip:
Add a Hidden Field to track UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) — this lets you trace which ad or campaign brought in the lead. Use a UTM builder if you’re not familiar how it works.

 Note:
If you’re already using a CRM like GoHighLevel or HubSpot, you can embed your CRM's native form instead for seamless tracking and faster automations.

Step 2: Map Form Fields to Your CRM (10 Minutes)

Now, connect your form to your CRM and ensure all fields map correctly:

  • Name → Contact Name

  • Email → Email Address

  • Business Type → Custom Field (Business Category)

  • Challenge → Custom Notes Field

  • UTM Parameters → Source Tracking Fields

  • How Soon → Lead Priority Field

 Pro Tip:
Set up auto-segmentation rules:

  • Hot leads (Immediate need) → Priority follow-up

  • Warm leads (1-3 months) → Nurture sequence

  • Cold leads (Just researching) → Long-term nurture

Step 3: Set Up Instant Notifications and Assignments (15 Minutes)

Don't let hot leads go cold.

Set up auto-assignment rules inside your CRM so leads get routed to you or your team immediately.

Create a real-time notification via Slack or WhatsApp using Zapier or Make.com.

Aim to reply to hot leads within 15 minutes — response speed dramatically increases your chance of closing.

Step 4: Configure Auto-Replies and Set Expectations (10 Minutes)

First impressions matter.

Build an auto-response email that fires as soon as a lead submits the form.

Example Auto-Reply:

"Thanks for reaching out! I’ve received your information and will follow up within 24 hours.

If you’re ready to move faster, just reply to this email with 'Let's Go!' to jump the queue."

 Pro Tip:
You could an AI to make this response more personalized and engaging depending on the enquiry.

Step 5 (Optional): Add Advanced Qualifying Questions

Once leads start flowing, add optional pre-qualification fields:

  • Budget Range ($500–$1,000 / $1,000–$5,000 / $5,000+)

  • Start Timeline (Immediately / 30 Days / 90+ Days)

Use answers to auto-prioritize:

  • High-budget, urgent leads → Immediate sales action

  • Low-budget, long-term leads → Low-touch nurture tracks

🚀 Quick Recap:

  • 🟠 Build your lead form with Tally.so, Typeform, or CRM native forms.

  • 🟠 Map every field properly into your CRM.

  • 🟠 Set up instant Slack/WhatsApp alerts.

  • 🟠 Send professional auto-responses immediately after capture.

  • 🟠 Pre-qualify and prioritize leads automatically.

QUICK AUTOMATION HACK

Implement a 3-Stage Re-Engagement Flow to Win Back Cold Leads

Most subscribers ghost not because they’re not interested — but because life gets in the way. A soft, timed nudge sequence revives warm leads without sounding desperate. The trick is using light touches, spaced out just enough to spark interest without spamming.

📨 The 3-Email Re-Engagement Sequence

Email #1: Light Check-In

  • Subject: Still thinking about it?

  • Body:
Just wanted to check in — no pressure at all.

Are you still exploring [specific goal]?

Let me know if now’s a better time to reconnect.

  • Goal: Gauge if they’re still interested without sounding pushy.

Email #2 (2–3 days later): Value Add

  • Subject: Thought this might help...

  • Body:
    I know timing is everything.
Here's a quick [case study / cheat sheet / guide] that might help as you decide.
Thought of you when I put this together.

  • Goal: Rebuild trust + show you care about their success, not just the sale.

Email #3 (2–3 days later): Soft Close

  • Subject: Should I close your file?

  • Body:
Totally fine if now’s not the right time.

Just let me know — I’ll close your file and won’t follow up again.

But if you’re still considering this, I’d love to help.

  • Goal: Trigger a decision. Most people respond here to say “still thinking” or “yes, let’s talk.”

⚙️ Automation Setup

  • GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, or any CRM with workflows

  • Trigger: “Last activity = 14+ days ago”

  • Action: Enroll contact in 3-email sequence with 2-day delays between each

  • Optional: Add an SMS for Email #3 if your audience responds better to texts

📊 Bonus: Tag-Based Exit Conditions

  • If lead replies or clicks, exit them from the sequence immediately

  • Add a tag like “Re-engaged Lead” so they enter a nurture or booking campaign

🎯 Why This Works So Well

  • You avoid the “needy” follow-up energy — it’s respectful, light, but direct.

  • You reignite conversations with 5–15% of dormant leads

  • You can build it once and let it run forever.
